National Forum on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
National forum on CSR is a leading platform in Russia launched with the goal to develop an effective dialogue on the issues of corporate social responsibility between the state, business community and the society, in order to elaborate and implement programmes in the sphere of social responsibility, as well as to raise efficiency of social investment in Russia.
National forum on CSR was set up in 2007 with the support of the National Centre for Social Monitoring, Public Chamber and Audit Chamber of the RF. Two main directions of its work are the following:
Organising events enabling companies to:
- Learn about the best social responsibility practices abroad;
- Share experiences in the field of corporate social responsibility;
- Study new ways to manage brand value and company’s capitalisation via introduction of CSR principles into all aspects of the company’s activities;
- Generate ideas for developing innovative approaches to the interaction with the stakeholders.

Providing consulting services:
- Carrying out social audits and expert surveys upon the order of the client (in Russia and abroad), including:
- Analysis of socially-oriented activities (including case studies) implemented by competitors and leaders in the field of CSR in the RF and abroad;
- Expert surveys with participation of Russian and international experts;
- Individual interviews with the client company’s stakeholders;
- Analysis of the current position of the company as against the competitors and industry leaders, and issuing recommendations on the target position of the company and on the measures to be taken to achieve it.
- Preparing social reports;
- Developing corporate social responsibility platform, strategy and tactics, as well as individual projects in the field of CSR;
- Elaborating cause related marketing programmes jointly with foundations and organisations having specialist expertise and enjoying high reputation in selected areas;
- Developing the programme of positioning the company as a socially responsible business in Russia and abroad;
- Providing communication support to social projects;
- Organising and coordinating individual trainings on key CSR issues for the client company’s staff with participation of Russian and international experts.
